God, I haven't posted in what, a week? Well, I guess that's because I've been hiding in a hole. Mentally at least. Oh well, it wasn't that interesting anyways. The few things of note are as follows:

Went to HomoHop on Sunday. It was ok I guess. I mean, the drag show was great, but over crowded rooms tend to get to me after a while, particularly if there is bad dance music being played so loud that I can't here myself think. I continue to stand firmly by the belief that there is quite a bit of danceable music that is *not* current "dance" or pop music and thus actually half decent and endurable. It's just that no one ever plays them (except, in some cases the people at Camp Massad). A few examples: Shiny Happy People and other assorted REM, Stand, 500 Miles (I have no idea if that is actually the title but you know what I mean. I hope.), Video Killed the Radio Star, most 80's new wave (Duran Duran and Culture Club forever!), some folk particularly celtic, etc. But I digress, I have to say that I enjoyed hanging out with Nikki and Jon before HomoHop far more than HomoHop itself.

I saw Emily Baron at HomoHop (and this morning at the university air, but that's irrelevant). This is of importance, to me at least, because Emily was the first girl I ever consciously had a crush on. She was the one who made me realize that I'm bi. I even wrote a bloody song about it. I hadn't seen her in two years before this past Sunday, and HomoHop is the first indication I have ever had that she might not be straight. I will probably drive myself nuts fairly soon wondering about her sexuality, and whether I could every possibly have a chance with her.

I rented Blow Dry (mmm...Alan Rickman) and Jeffery on Monday. Jeffery is an odd little movie....let's just say that from the point of view of someone who at one point or another as seen pretty much all of Next Gen, Patrick Stewart should never ever wear a pink barre.

I had a two part biology test yesterday and today which is only of interest because Mr. Ffrench sent us to the site www.geneticengineering.org for our essay question, where I came across an article by someone who is either completely insane, has read too much science fiction, or more likely, both. Go on,read it, I dare you. You'll either laugh your ass off or run away screaming.

I decided not to go to group tonight for two reasons; 1) My car is currently in the shop getting winterized 2) I have had a headache since ten o'clock this morning. Oh, well. *shrug*

My parents are extremely annoying. I think that's all I'll say about that right now.

CoS tomorrow!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!
